Site Launch: ITC Cruise

IFIblog_ITCRUISE_sm ITC Incorporated is a dynamic, evolving company that has grown its LED capabilities with collections of lighting products for several industries including Marine, Cruise, RV, Healthcare, Retail, and Commercial Interiors.

This manufacturer came to the Imagination Factory seeking a web solution for its multiple companies. We designed a cohesive design for each and a plan to develop and launch multiple sites over the next several months. The second of six to launch is for the ITC Cruise brand, which specializes in bringing lighting solutions and design capabilities to luxury cruise ship manufacturers and ship retro-fitters.

The site also features a full catalog showroom and an interactive rep locator and a common back-end site administration center with its sister sites.

The first to launch is for the elio® brand, which extended their knowledge in LED lighting into new markets including healthcare, office, store fixtures, and residential and commercial cabinet manufacturers.

Site Launch: Meyer Music

IFIblog_MMI_sm Meyer Music, after watching web designers come and go for several years, came to the Imagination Factory, back in 2005, to have their first web site built. Over the years there have been a variety of changes and enhancements to benefit their custoemrs, but no major re-design…

Until today!

Meyer Music has revamped and enhanced its internal operations, so it made sense to also give the website an overall facelift and make it mobile responsive. The redesign would require also integrating the public facing web site to a secure portal where Meyer Music clients will not only rent musical instruments (as with the old site), but also access their accounts and pay online.

This latter portion of the project meant not only getting the various computers to play together nicely and securely, but to make the aesthetics match as closely as possible across different computers, operating systems and applications.

Site Launch: Century Hardware

IFIblog_CHDWR_sm With a tradeshow looming, Century Hardware, unhappy with the limitations of their existing site, came to the Imagination Factory for help. Their list of wants was extensive.

The site needed to be mobile responsive and retina display friendly; it needed to have integrated ecommerce with multi-level wholesale/retail pricing as well as the ability to accept POs and generate invoices and accept credit card payments online; it needed to be able to restrict quantities for select products and provide control over the online customers (who can buy wholesale, at what rate, who can use POs, etc).

The site needed to allow users to filter the products against numerous criteria (including finish, function, style, size, etc.) and it needed to allow the user to save their own wishlist of items for later use; it also was to include a ‘find a dealer’ function and a interactive flip-book (both also mobile friendly); and oh yeah… it eventually needs to be multi-lingual ready (with chinese and spanish targeted languages).

News: IFI is on the Move

Ionia Studio We’re excited to be on the move as of Friday, February 28th to the vibrant, historic Blodgett building downtown!

After 10 years out by the GR airport, another 20 years along the Grand River (last 10 at the Brassworks building), the Imagination Factory is expanding to two locations.

Our client center and NEW business address is 15 Ionia SW, Suite 220; Grand Rapids, MI 40503 and will be dedicated to project meetings and training.

Production will move to our new design studio on Grand River. Our web and mail servers will remain buried in the secure vault (with multiple bandwidth, power, A/C and security measures) where they have been since time immortal.

Site Launch: Paragon D&E

As many manufacturers, such as Paragon, are learning, their company website is becoming a more important part of the ISO 9000 audit & certification process. This clean, responsive design allows Paragon to expand information on their industry service areas as well as provide detailed information on their unique capabilities.

Sweet Suite Success

Spring is in the air, and that means it is time for seasonal updates to our various MiLB clients.

As such we have just launched the upcoming seasons updates to the secure suite catering online order systems for the Dayton Dragons, the Oklahoma City Redhawks, and the Tulsa Drillers. In years previous, we also created similar online order systems for West Michigan Whitecaps, Lansing Lugnuts, and Montgomery Biscuits.
